At the real historical rally at Irving Hall, the only woman in attendance, “Annie of the Sun office” (whether she worked for the Sun or merely sold it, I can’t be sure; the article made it sound like she was a newsie, but the use of “woman” not “girl” makes me wonder), got the most applause, to the point where police had to quiet the others down.
